Welcome to my blog! I decided to start this blog after many nights of thinking, praying and screaming and thinking, praying and screaming all over again. So finally...I have come to the conclusion...I am going NATURAL!!! WHOOO HOOO!
Why? You might ask. Well I don't really have an answer to that question. I know I have always loved the bushy natural look. Also I just want to try something different. I have been getting perms since I was 13 I think. And I knew the chemical damanged my hair but it sooo did the trick.lol.
However I am ready to be chemical free! I am ready to take on this wild journey and become all natural. I am ready to embrace the beauty of being me! Welcome.

A simple style
This I just something I did today. Then after I did it, I remember I did my second daughters hair like this when she was about 7 or 8 months old. She had a bush! Now that my hair has grown some I can do alot more with it. I am so ready to try new styles. Tis all! Got that one from my little sis lol.

Okay soo I thought.....
Okay so why did I think I was going to have little bouncy curly's in my hair that hang at least to my ear. Soo not the case! I don't know what I was thinking. I forget I have n-a-t=u-r-a-l hair, it is not going to hang like permed hair until it is long enough I guess. I was looking in the mirror like.... "okaaay, why is it still sitting on top of my head" lol. However, I do like the do. That hair smoothie make your hair sooo soft.It actually feels like my girls hair when they were baby's. I was trying to think of another hairstyle to do it in, like an up do. I need some step by step tips and ideas. Anywho this is what I came out with.

Found a new do!
So it's been almost 4 months since my last post. I haven't really tried any new styles, Why? you ask? Well I haven't really been feeling this twa. I did not know how or what to do with it. My Sister Nikki has been rockin' her's with nubian pride! But I just wasn't feeling it. I wasn't going back to perms but wanted something different. So I thought I would flat iron it. So I did and I actually liked it. I felt like I had a perm. So then on Mother's Day my little sister had these little knots (in her hair lol) at the top of her head then a half wig on. She mentioned that when she takes them down, they make these little cute spiral like curls. So I said "hmmm I wonder can I do that while I have my hair straightened". Now yall know I'm still new at this, I went online and found out they are actually called bantu knots, (a little slow I know) But I said this is going to soo cute and easy. So this afternoon I bantuuud it up (I know I just made a word). I think I will leave it up for about 3 days and take it down. But I WILL NOT be walking around with these little knots on my head lol. Some can do it but in the meantime I got a nice half wig that I can rock until reveal time. Coming soon to a blog near you lol. Check me out in about 3 days. Or 2.
I used Shea Moisture organic coconut & hibiscus Curl Enhancing smoothie. Thanks to my sister Nikki who is always finding new products. I also used olive oil from my kitchen. Lets hope this works.
